- Prizes
- Ten winners of $1,000 for each Pool Draw and one winner of the End of Game Top Prize amount for each specific Scratchers® game or online game.
- How to Enter
- All registered 2nd Chance players who purchase one or more eligible scratcher and draw game tickets can enter each eligible ticket. Players must login to their existing 2nd Chance account or create an account at The Lottery to submit a ticket entry. Drawing participants may not enter more than 1,000 submissions for 2nd Chance per calendar month based on the Submission Limitation Policy. Learn more about the Submission Limitation Policy.
- Drawings
- 2nd Chance Drawings will take place in accordance with Lottery Regulations and procedures. Five alternate winners will be chosen per drawing in the event a selected entry is not valid. In no event will 2nd Chance entries be accepted after the associated game’s 2nd Chance End of Game Top Prize entry deadline.
- All timely entries are eligible for at least two types of 2nd Chance drawings: pool drawing and End of Game Top Prize drawing.
- Pool drawings occur on a progressive basis, meaning the entry deadline for one pool drawing is immediately followed by the beginning of a new pool drawing entry period. Eligible entries received after a pool draw entry deadline will automatically be entered into the pool for the next drawing. Entries are eligible for only one pool drawing.
- Additionally, eligible entries will be entered into the 2nd Chance End of Game Top Prize drawing for the specific game associated with that non-winning ticket. When an End of Game Top Prize drawing occurs, all valid ticket entries for that game that are received by the Lottery before the entry deadline will be eligible for the End of Game Top Prize drawing.
- How to Win
- Entry deadlines and details will be posted on the Lottery website. Entry deadlines are subject to change by the Lottery. The Lottery will randomly select winners from the eligible internet entries received for each 2nd Chance Pool Drawing and 2nd Chance End of Game Top Prize Drawing. Draws will be conducted in quarterly intervals, at a minimum. 2nd Chance winners’ names from each drawing will be posted on the Lottery website. Using the contact information provided to the Lottery by the player, the Lottery will notify each winner by e-mail to login into their account for "important information." Players must provide their true, full legal name when registering for the 2nd Chance program. Only the person identified by name as the Winner on the Lottery website at the time the Winner’s name is posted may claim the prize from the Lottery. Upon login to the Lottery’s website, the winner will be notified of the winning prize. Winners must submit a Winner Claim Form in accordance with Lottery Regulations and procedures. Players may not win more than one prize in each drawing.
- Eligibility and Participation
- Participants must be 18-years of age or older and must meet eligibility requirements at the time of the program drawing. To enter 2nd Chance drawings, participants must register as a player on the Lottery website. When registering, participants must provide a valid address and enter submissions from a location to be eligible for 2nd Chance drawings. In addition, participants must provide true and current information. Failure to provide participant’s full legal name will make participant ineligible to receive prizes from the Lottery. This program is not open to certain Lottery vendors or employees of the Lottery, their agents, and their family members residing in the same household.
